The steps,
one at a time.

    Open the config file

    Open ~/.cursor/mcp.json, or .cursor/mcp.json in a project.

    Paste this config

    Add the omnibo server below and save the file.

    Sign in

    Cursor opens your browser. Sign in with your Omnibo account and approve what the connection may do. You manage the server from Customize in the sidebar.

    Ask for something

    In a new chat, ask: “Generate a cinematic image of a lighthouse at dusk and show it to me.”

On Omnibo, video, audio, web search and the planner need Starter or higher.

Signing in

The server signs you in with OAuth: your client opens a browser, you sign in to your Omnibo account, and a consent screen lets you approve what the connection may do. Clients that accept a custom header can use an API key instead, from Settings → MCP & API keys.

What it costs

Everything runs on your Omnibo credits, at the same rates as the app. list_models shows each model’s rate and the plan it needs, and balance shows what is left. A generation returns a job, which job_status and wait_for_job follow. Nothing here publishes anywhere.
